James Capel, MD of Simply Waste Solutions, is profiled in the October issue of The Business Magazine. Simply Waste Solutions, one of the UK’s fastest growing waste management and recycling companies, was earlier this year recognised for its pioneering approach to zero waste by being shortlisted for two prestigious waste industry awards. Furthermore, and due to its phenomenal growth, , James Capel, was also in the running for the Institute of Director’s ‘Young Director of the Year’ award.
The culmination of these awards is some achievement, given that the Simply Waste is only seven years old. The company was founded by MD James Capel back in 2006 initially as a 2-vehicle start-up. Its meteoric rise was achieved by breaking the mould of how traditional waste management companies operate and by delivering the highest standards of customer service that many of its larger competitors now struggle to match. Today, the company has offices in High Wycombe and Langley, employs over 50 people, has a turnover of over £10million per annum, operates 29 trucks and vans and counts amongst its growing customer list John Lewis, Waitrose and Debenhams.
